TPL is currently seeking:

Wireless Technology Intellectual Property Analysts / Agents with various levels of experience. Candidates possessing a deep working knowledge of Wireless Communications and very strong writing skills are desired. Patent knowledge is a big plus.

We are currently evaluating candidates to work as independent contractors at our Center City Philadelphia or Doylestown offices.  Exceptional candidates in remote locations will also be considered.

Primary duties will include:

·         Review of patents to determine claim scope and quality.

·         Analysis of patent claims in relation to products and prior art.

·         Communicating results, in a professional manner, to senior analysts and clients.

Particular experience with current cellular technologies or mobile services is essential.  Working knowledge of 3GPP, 3GPP2, and OMA standards is highly desirable.  Broad familiarity with a wide array of technologies is expected.

This is a demanding environment where only a highly motivated, detail-oriented person will succeed.

Requirements: 

·         M.S. in Electrical Engineering, or Ph. D. in EE or a related field.

·         Eight (8) years Engineering / R&D experience required, with at least four (4) in the wireless industry.

·         Strong communication skills.

·         A demonstrated interest in intellectual property is preferred.
