Daniel S. Carlineo, Esq. Named Leading Business Lawyer

DOYLESTOWN, PA., August 16, 2009. Asia Law & Practice’s 2009 Leading Lawyers Survey
has named Daniel S. Carlineo, TPL’s Senior Vice President and General Counsel, as one of
Asia’s leading business lawyers in recognition of his work in the field of intellectual property.
Mr. Carlineo received this same recognition in Asia Law & Practice’s 2008 Leading Lawyer
Survey.

In its 14th year, Asia Law’s Leading Lawyers Survey is an extensively researched guide to the
most highly endorsed lawyers in many fields, including intellectual property, antitrust, corporate
governance, general corporate practice, mergers & acquisitions, dispute resolution, capital
markets, corporate finance, labor/employment, bankruptcy, and regulatory/government.
Survey participants included thousands of senior executives and in-house legal counsel at top
domestic and international corporations in Asia. The Survey is one of the largest annual
surveys in the legal profession and its purported aim is “to identify the region’s most highly
