Juan is a registered Patent Agent with experience in the telecommunication and electronics industries. Juan's expertise includes performing technology and market assessments in target areas to determine patenting tactics for invention disclosures. He has also led infringement-analysis projects in the areas of computer hardware, consumer electronics, display technologies, imaging systems, enterprise software, and engine systems. In addition, Juan's experience includes the development of effective patent mining techniques and financial models to forecast royalty revenues for licensing activities. His prior work has been instrumental in providing lead negotiators with strategic guidance regarding licensing transactions valued at over $100 million based on financial and market data analysis. Juan is also responsible for several IP sale negotiations and other transaction related activities.

Juan received his formal education from Rutgers University, where he received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and graduated Cum Laude with an M.B.A. in Management and Business Strategy. He is an active member of the Licensing Executives Society and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.
